Meet Carrie
Hello! My name is Carrie Morgan and I am excited to help you learn and grow through the therapy process! Making the decision to try therapy is not always an easy decision, and I strive to give my clients a judgment-free environment where they are allowed to express themselves and feel heard. A bit of background about me: I have a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I also received a Masters Certificate in Addiction and Co-Occurring Disorders and in Expressive Arts Therapy. I have experience working with teens, adults, and couples with diverse backgrounds. I believe in helping individuals through a holistic and individualized approach. I have been trained in a number of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and complex trauma techniques. Although I have been trained in several modalities, I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is key to successful therapy. I provide my clients with space to be heard and to explore the many different reasons that bring clients to seek out therapy. I feel privileged to be allowed to be a part of the therapeutic journey with clients.
