Jessica (Jessie) Goeke, MSW LICSW (she/her)

Meet Jessie

Jessica (Jessie) Goeke is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker who has a particular focus on holistic care and encourages healing of not just the mind – but body, spirit, and soul as well.  Holistic care focuses on individualized approaches to meet the needs of the whole person, not just presenting behaviors or symptoms. This is most effectively achieved by incorporating various forms of therapy, looking at nutrition, examining sleep and rest, working to regulate the nervous system, and exploring movement that feels good for your body.

Jessie strives to create a collaborative and non-judgmental experience where you can feel comfortable sharing about yourself and your life experiences, and explore your thoughts and feelings. Her therapeutic process  is based in a developmental and systems perspective, focusing on family experiences, environmental, social/relational, and systemic challenges impacting the individual, and seeks to understand how these experiences may inform their behavior, beliefs, challenges, and strengths. She aims to support individuals to develop additional strategies and coping skills that will prepare them to meet the challenges of day-to-day life. Jessie uses humor and light-heartedness to her therapeutic work, because therapy doesn’t always have to be heavy and hard. Others have described Jessie as being kind, empathetic, thoughtful, and direct or able to hold them accountable in therapy in a compassionate way that does not feel shaming.

Jessie’s specialties include women’s health (including mental health, physical health, relationships, cultural and systemic influences, and all of the various intersectionalities of this identity); supporting people living with PCOS and other chronic medical syndromes; body image concerns using a Health at Every Size lens; individuals who identify as empaths or highly sensitive people (HSPs), boundaries and relationships, shame, life transitions, stress management, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and Autism. Jessie strives to be a neurodiversity affirming provider who is conscious of systemic and institutional prejudice of various forms and is committed to being open to feedback in these areas.

Jessie is an independent contractor and currently sees clients via telehealth.
